Has anyone had a dreadful complication during treatment - particularly spinal compressions?
In my own case, I've already been diagnosed with a thoracic spinal compression. A laminectomy was performed to alleviate the symptoms (i.e. lower extremities, numbness/tingling, constant muscle spasms); a culture was sent for analysis - specimen was classified as "non-neoplastic." Afterwards, I spent about a month in a rehabilitation facility. My prognosis improved, but unfortunately, recent a MRI showed another spinal compression - the same area but at a different level. My medical team is reluctant to perform another laminectomy since they're unsure of the source.
