Hey everyone! My name is Angela! I am 34 years old and I am from Kentucky. In 2014 at the age of 32 I was diagnosed with lung cancer (adenocarcinoma). My mass was found on accident and removed immediately along with 2/3 of my right lung. My oncologist didn't recommend further treatment. Afterwards I had CT scans every 3 months for a year and then went to 6 months. In June there was a new spot in my left lung. PET scan was negative. I had a repeat CT scan in August and the spot had grown and 4 new spots appeared. My oncologist says they are too small to show up on a PET and the only way to biopsy them would be to do an open lung biopsy. So we are waiting...... The waiting is so hard! I will have another CT scan next month. Hopefully the spots have calcified or disappeared. At this point I just want an answer.
