Wow, I can't believe I'm the first to publish in this forum. Yet again, the *cool* cancers get all the spotlight. Kidding. Sort of.
I was diagnosed with a high-grade urothelial carcinoma that reached T4 before they did the (successful) partial cystectomy on it at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I'm only just a few months after surgery and still very much in recovery, but today I passed my first 3 month check with a clean bill of health. I was so not looking forward to the possibility of more chemo or surgery, or both.
Anyhow, if you have bladder cancer (or even if you don't) welcome.
I have been keeping a blog throughout my experiences from the initial diagnosis through my 3 month check and counting. Feel free to tun in if you wish.
