AYA Cancer Chronicles (Part 1): Have Cancer, Now What?

Join us for Part I of this five part series highlighting the experiences of adolescent/young adult patients and caregivers affected by cancer. In Part I, we will focus on the patient experience, especially the challenges that come with navigating a new diagnosis. This panel-style workshop will illuminate the stories of AYAs and will be moderated by CancerCare oncology social workers.

This program intends to provide adolescent/young adult (AYA) patients and caregivers with a safe platform to share their personal and unique experiences with cancer. The hope is to bring awareness to the specific challenges YA cancer patients and caregivers face daily, in turn, reducing feelings of isolation and creating a sense of community.
