Ways to Give

As a 501(c) nonprofit, we rely on your generosity to accomplish our mission: to build the adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer community, end isolation, and make cancer suck less so that everyone affected by AYA cancer can Get Busy Living.

Thank you for your support.

Ways to Give

Donor Advised Fund

Make a gift from your donor-advised fund (DAF).

Opening or using your existing DAF has major tax benefits, and it’s easy! You will need to initiate this donation from your DAF account. Please fill out this form, which helps us track it properly and inform you that it’s arrived. Stupid Cancer’s Tax ID number is 20‑2027782.

IRA Distribution

Make an IRA gift, the most tax efficient way to give.

If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA annually that will not be taxed as income.  If you’re 73+, consider turning some or all of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) into a QCD. You can donate up to $100,000 per person per year this way. This is easy to do. Please consult  your tax advisor.

Employee Matching Program

Double your impact with an Employee Matching Gift.

Increase the impact of your gift! Your company may match your donation to our organization. If you or your spouse’s employer offers this benefit, please initiate a match form through your HR department.

Gifted Donation

Make a gift in honor of someone special.

Tribute donations are a thoughtful way to honor your student or perhaps an inspiring teacher! Make your donation online and indicate if yours is a tribute gift. We will be happy to inform the individual of your kindness.

Stock Option

Donate appreciated stock, mutual funds, EDFs, bonds, or life insurance.

Making a gift of securities is easy and has many tax benefits. You will need to initiate this donation through your financial advisor.  This helpful guide to arranging transfers of stock will tell you how to do it.

We are so thankful for your support.
