AYA Cancer Chronicles (Part 3): Dating & Disclosure

Join us for Part III of this five part series highlighting the experiences of adolescent/young adult patients and caregivers affected by cancer. In Part III, we will focus on dating and disclosure for AYA patients both in-treatment and post-treatment. This will cover communication, disclosures, sex/intimacy, difficult conversations and connecting with professional support. This panel-style workshop will illuminate the stories of AYAs and will be moderated by CancerCare oncology social workers.

This program intends to provide adolescent/young adult (AYA) patients and caregivers with a safe platform to share their personal and unique experiences with cancer. The hope is to bring awareness to the specific challenges YA cancer patients and caregivers face daily, in turn, reducing feelings of isolation and creating a sense of community.
