There are a lot of side effects that come with cancer treatment, but we often aren’t prepared for the impact cancer can have on dating, sex, and intimacy. Whether you are single and interested in dating or in a committed relationship, cancer can create many relationship challenges and challenges with sex and intimacy. Join this 2 week discussion series with Stupid Cancer and healthcare providers from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to better understand these difficulties, learn some coping mechanisms, and connect with other AYAs that get it.

Dating can be a nightmare for anyone, but dating after a cancer diagnosis really raises the stakes. How can you create an effective support system as a single person? When should you disclose to new romantic prospects? What should you share about your cancer history? Join this Discussion Sessions faciliated by Dana-Farber Cancer Center, to engage in open and honest talk with other AYAs to share your experiences and build community.

You may be frustrated by disruptions to your sex life during and after cancer treatment, but there are interventions and tools that can help you regain confidence and increase pleasure. Plus, equipping yourself with knowledge and comfort to navigate potentially awkward conversations with others about sex and intimacy are incredibly important and can lead to a more positive sense of self.
