His raw yet emotional take on this open mic night is genuinely inspiring and eye-opening for not just patients, but also for the wider community to understand the complex details that are often hard to convey within the world of cancer.
“I breathe the smoke of a thousand computer tomography machines. I drink the blood of a thousand bags of toxic chemical therapeutic agents. I carry this forever now, and I will still have it when I am in the field alone.”
